This was a project to extend a successful bar at the rear into an existing but unused courtyard.
The aim was to provide a suitable venue place as well as a more attractive outside beer garden, and the bar remained operation throughout. The new building was constructed in traditional load-bearing brickwork with a exposed king-post roof structure, pantile roof covering, and painted sash windows.
